My research
with Dr. Bidlack was the first at UCO to investigate use plant pigments in photovoltaic cells. We
explored many plant pigments, and their derivatives, to show that voltage can be
obtained and maintained under artificial light on a square
centimeter Gratzel Cell for more than 24 hours. I finished my Master's
Degree in Biology at UCO in 2010, completed a Doctoral Degree in Cotton
Physiology with Dr. Derrick Oosterhuis at University of Arkansas, and proud to
be working for Pepsi-Cola as a Senior Research Scientist in Minneapolis,
Minnesota.
